On Saturday, December 15th, the School of Labor and Employment Relations celebrated the commencement of 82 students completing their Masters of Human Resource and Industrial Relations at Krannert Center for the Performing Arts’ Follinger Auditorium. In addition to our graduates, we welcomed the first cohort of our online program and 13 of the 19 students also participated in the convocation ceremony.
Prior to the ceremony, the Dean Drasgow welcomed our online graduates at the Urbana Country Club for a luncheon with their friends and family. In many cases, this was the first time our online graduates met in person. We were excited to host graduates from as far away as Florida and Alaska!
During the commencement, graduates were inspired by Kim Ramsey (’86 MHRIR), Jennifer Reinke (August '17) and Kayla Morse (December '17). Immediately following the ceremony, our graduates and their families celebrated the completion of the program with a reception at the LER Building. We couldn’t be more excited to follow these graduates journey.
Please join us in welcoming these students to the LER Family! For photos from the weekend, please visit our LER Photo Album.
