The College of Fine and Applied Arts is looking to engage Wellness Support Associates (WSA) in a number of our buildings for the start of the Fall semester. The role of a WSA is to help enact the university’s COVID-19 building access. This will be accomplished by checking building access status in the Safer Illinois app of those wishing to enter university instructional buildings. The hourly wage is $14.50 and you must be an enrolled student for the Fall 2021 semester.
A requirement of the position is that each WSA must complete online training which can be found at this link: https://uillinois.abilitylms.com/UIllinois/LearnerWeb_PTM.php?ActionID=Module&SegmentID=GroupHomePage&GroupID=IHR_WSA
Please watch the Building Entry Options for WSAs and De-escalation and Non-escalation Training for WSAs videos first to see if this is a position which you would be comfortable in staffing.
We currently have the greatest need for WSAs at the following times/days:
8:30am-10:30am M/W/F
11am-1:30pm M/W
12:30pm-2:30pm M/W/F
12:30pm-3:30pm T/Th
Please let me know if you are available for one or more of these shifts by replying to this message (predman@illinois.edu) with the days of the week and times which you are available. We will assign shifts as replies are received. We also have limited needs at others times during the day M-F between 7:30am-5pm, so if you have availability outside the times above please also let us know.
Best of luck in the semester ahead.
Sincerely,
Paul Redman
