JOB OPENING
Unit for Criticism and Interpretive Theory
Graduate Research Assistant
The Unit for Criticism and Interpretive Theory will be offering one 33% Graduate Research Assistantship for the 2018-2019 academic year, with possible renewal for the 2019-2020 academic year. The start date for the position is mid-August 2018. The position is open to all Unit-affiliated graduate students; students who are not already affiliated with the Unit are welcome to affiliate prior to the deadline. Ideally, this position will last for two years, so students who will be completing their degrees or leaving campus before the academic year 2019-2020 are not eligible.
The ideal Unit assistant will be familiar with and interested in the Unit for Criticism and its programs and will have office experience, excellent organizational and communication skills, and computer literacy. Graphic design experience is desirable but not required, as is experience with conference or event organizing. The Unit for Criticism is a multidisciplinary program and welcomes applications from all disciplines.
To ensure full consideration, please email a CV and a letter of application detailing your qualifications to Susan Koshy (skoshy@illinois.edu) by Sunday, February 25 at 5pm. Your cv should include 2 faculty references, though no written recommendation is required.
