How did your experience at ILLINOIS and in the College of Media prepare you for your internship?
The College of Media given me an abundance of journalism knowledge and really motivated me to get an internship before graduation.
How has your internship prepared you for a career?
My internship made me more certain than ever that I want to work as a reporter.
What recommendations do you have for other students about doing an internship?
Challenge yourself. Take the time to learn from experienced reporters and other broadcast journalism students. Be sure to practice reporting in front of a camera.
