Having to make my own schedule and make sure I was getting my work done with little supervision.

My classes helped me refine my communication skills, which was very important for my internship.

I have gained communication, account management, and problem solving skills from this internship, which I will need for a career in account management.
What recommendations do you have for other students about doing an internship?
Try and work for a company that you really believe in and support, rather than a company that is just giving you experience, it will make the entire internship feel more worth it.
