The Director of the Office of Land Management through the Illinois Department of Natural Resources is currently seeking applicants for the Conservation Education Representative positions at Starved Rock and Matthiessen State Parks for the 2021, May through November season.
The state has not produced an up to date version of the job posting as of yet, but the IDNR has asked staff to utilize a posting from our most recent 2019 CER job posting (Pre-COVID) until a 2021 version is produced this Spring. The only addition to the job posting would be qualifications/requirements. We are looking for graduates with a bachelors degree in geology, geography, park recreation, ecology, environmental science, environmental education, history, biology, botany, conservation, forestry, or other related field of study. Seniors may apply, but graduates will be given preference.
