Global Sustainability Analyst
The Global Sustainability Analyst is responsible for collecting, analyzing, synthesizing, and reporting on ecometrics data across the global enterprise. The global Sustainability Analyst works closely with other functions to track energy and water usage at all Interface facilities globally, and generates greenhouse gas (GhG) calculations based on these measures. The Global Sustainability Analyst also measures results of the Interface approach to environmental responsibility with the goal to minimize the company’s environmental impact. The Global Sustainability Analyst reports to the Director, Global Sustainability.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Collects large quantities of energy and sustainability related data from across the global enterprise and synthesizes into meaningful analyses
- Collects data for manufacturing site energy and water consumption, and applies emissions factors to the data collected to determine specific ecometrics progress
- Builds strong relationships with internal partners and stakeholders across the company globally
- Develops and/or reviews approaches that may result in greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reductions for Interface
- Creates and maintains trackers to monitor sustainability performance for Scopes 1, 2, and 3 emissions
- Calculates carbon offsets needed annually to maintain Carbon Neutral Floors and Carbon Neutral Enterprise programs
- Assists in the development of new sustainability metrics measurement tools (using PowerBI, Excel, or other databases)
- Conducts sustainability analysis for company manufacturing location power consumption trends, life cycle assessments, and carbon footprint analysis
- Develops business analytics and scenario analyses to quantify the impact of emissions reductions projects
- Works with external third-party verifiers to ensure appropriate access to necessary emissions data while preserving proprietary information and manufacturing trade secrets

Education and Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in sustainability, business, engineering, accounting, or sciences
