Magnolia is seeking a new team member to help scale our supply and network of mitigation properties across the country. The analyst position is a great entry point for exposure to all aspects of environmental markets and the company itself. The Conservation Lands Analyst will primarily report to the Land Manager at Magnolia. This role will have the opportunity to secure the conservation rights to some of the most impactful properties across the United States.

Job Specific Requirements
Magnolia’s Conservation Land Analyst will support the land team in their efforts to secure the rights to mitigation properties across the county. Below are some possible responsibilities of this role:
- Identify prospective conservation properties through GIS
- Analyze complex datasets to make informed decisions on geographic focus areas
- Perform site due diligence, including title work, surveys, and appraisals
- Perform site visits and baseline habitat assessments
- Coordinate with prospective landowner partners
- Negotiate deal terms and draft purchase agreements
- File conservation easements and deed restrictions
- Develop marketing and social materials for community outreach
- Coordinate with state/federal environmental regulatory agencies
- Communicate internally with regulatory, sales, and science teams as needed
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in any field
- Excellent communication skills
- Comfortable with frequent travel
- Quick learner
- Detail-oriented and organized
Desired Qualifications
- Proficiency in ArcGIS Pro
- Previous real estate experience
- Conservation and/or environmental experience
