Major Duties:
Under the direct supervision of the Unit Manager, participates in an Agency sponsored program of not more than 12 months to receive the training necessary to conduct environmental site investigations that are routine and scientific in nature and often concern environmental contaminants and their impact on human health and the environment. Receives controlled assignments, including Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA) site assessments, municipal Brownfield redevelopment assessments, and usage of various field-based environmental site characterization technologies.
