Currently, one of our biggest areas of focus is assisting in the development of renewable energy across the State of Maine. With the increased demand for our services, we are seeking an intern to assist with early permitting services, including but not limited to wetland delineation, vernal pool assessments, phase 1 ESA and more. The intern will be provided a monthly stipend, discounted housing, and will have the potential of turning in to a full-time paid position.
What we are looking for:
1) Experience with field work in the areas of wetland delineation, GIS mapping, soil sampling, and other environmental assessments
2) Bachelor degree (or soon to be graduated) in Environmental Science, Natural Resources, Ecology or related field
3) Ability to work independently and without significant supervision
4) Ability to travel within the state (will be reimbursed for mileage)
