Data research and interpretation, communication with local, state, and federal environmental agencies, review of environmental documents, and effective writing will all be required to be successful in this position. A high level of multi-tasking, organization, and an ability to stay on top of multiple projects all with specific deadlines will be required. The position requires critical thinking skills for completion of Phase I Environmental Site Assessments as well as client communication skills while dealing with a variety of client types. Within this role the employee will be expected to prepare 2-3 Phase One ESA reports per week on a consistent basis. Select site visits may be required on an as needed basis. Additionally, this role will contribute to ESA review and discussion with Armada staff as well as outside clients as necessary.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with the completion of at least two to three ASTM compliant Phase I Environmental Site Assessments per week
- Locate, research, and disseminate current information for environmental reports with a primary focus on multifamily properties
- Write Phase I Environmental Site Assessments based on information provided from senior staff as well as based on information obtained via research
- Complete mandatory Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) requests on select properties
- Conduct site visits on occasion
- Analyze and develop site maps
- Analyze and data upload radon test results for select properties
- Complete report edits as necessary
- Contribute to property condition assessment or repair verification reports as needed
