Responsibilities - Essential Functions
-Work with the MEECS Online Project Coordinator to develop and align curriculum materials with state standards.
- Responsible for managing and adapting MEECS Content to an online professional development learning management system.
- Coordinate and supervise video-recording sessions with educators and their classes through Michigan.
-Communicate with varied contractors regarding their work expectation, and manage and coordinate their efforts on behalf of the project.
- Responsible for on-site direction and supervision for contractors and teacher-partners during video-recording sessions across the sate of Michigan.
- Assist in coordinating team and MEECS advisory meetings.
- Spend funds within a budget and ensure all programmatic responsibilities are met.
-Responsible for meeting deadlines of the project to meet the proposed timeline.
-Other duties as assigned.
Responsibilities - Non-essential Functions
Required Qualifications and Education
-Bachelor's Degree
-Experience with learning management or content management systems
-Experience working with diverse partners and organizations related to K-12 education, state agencies, and environmental education
-Strong organization and communication skills
-Experience working with educators
Preferred Qualifications and Education
-Knowledge of MEECS curriculum
-Knowledge of best practices for science education
-Knowledge of Next Generation Science Standards
-Experience with marketing and communications
-Experience with video production or editing
