We are seeking a University of Illinois undergraduate student to convert digital historical aerial photography to orthorectified photography of various counties and convert other varied resources to digital data format as assigned for use in Illinois Department of Transportation infrastructure improvement projects.
Responsibilities: Perform aerial orthorectification of historical aerial photography of various counties for use within the IDOT property assessments program utilizing Leica Photogrammetry Suite and complete various other projects designed to convert resources to digital data.
Qualifications: Must be enrolled as an undergraduate student with basic familiarity with Microsoft Word and Adobe Photoshop software. Coursework in geology or geography and basic familiarity with GIS software, Leica Photogrammetry Suite helpful, but not required.
Work up to 20 hours per week at $10 per hour.
