SUMMER EDUCATOR INTERN: Six (6) Temporary, Full-time Positions. Pay: $500 per month plus lodging. Dates: Start: May 23, 2016 - August 15, 2016.
Location: International Wolf Center, Ely, Minnesota.
Qual: 4BS/BA or three years coursework in environmental education or related field. Teaching experience/experience working with the public. +Effective communication skills in working with people of all ages. +High level of self-motivation and enthusiasm. +CPR and First Aid Certifications preferred. +Valid driver's license.
Duties: Conduct wolf education and natural history programs for the public and groups. + Teach large and small groups, as well as answer wolf natural history questions from visitors. +Lead interpretive hikes and field trips. +Assist in program development for people of all ages. + Respond to wolf information inquiries by phone or e-mail. +Create projects for the education department as assigned.
