Dr. Lauren Anaya is a local attorney, specializing in immigration, family law, and criminal defense. She earned a JD at the University of Iowa, a BBA from Iowa State University, and a PhD in Anthropology from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
Allyson Cubr graduated from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign in May 2016. She is currently a first year law student at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign.
Professor Eric Johnson teaches and writes about criminal law, criminal procedure, and evidence. His research and teaching both are informed by his long experience as a government attorney.
Randy Rosenbaum has been practicing law for 25 years, most recently serving as Champaign County Public Defender for 18 years. He was just appointed to serve as a Champaign County judge, presiding over family court.
Jamie Thomas-Ward, J.D. (‘02), M.S. (‘06) worked as an attorney focusing on commercial real estate development, corporate law, and municipal issues. As Director of Pre-Law Services, she directs a campus wide program providing advising, workshops, and professional development to approximately 2200 undergraduate students and many alumni each year. She is also an adjunct professor in Political Science.
