Tradewater is an environmental project development firm headquartered in Chicago. We are working to destroy the equivalent of over 3,000,000 tons of carbon pollution annually from phased out refrigerants and methane. Our work will permanently prevent these potent greenhouse gases from being released into the atmosphere.
Tradewater’s mission is to improve environmental quality and create economic opportunity through the collection and destruction of greenhouse gasses. Tradewater believes that a company committed to cleaning up the environment can be just as successful – if not more so – than a company that achieves its goals without regard to environmental impact. With this mission in mind, Tradewater strives to maintain a creative and collaborative company culture. An internship with the company provides not only professional experience mitigating climate change through the creation of carbon credits, but also the opportunity to learn and grow in a supportive environment.
