Is Peace Corps accepting applications?
Yes, PC is accepting applications! Though they are not currently sending volunteers into the field, Peace Corps welcomes applications through its website.
How can students (and staff) contact you?
Please feel free to email the Peace Corps account (peacecorps@illinois.edu) or my personal on-campus account (nmelros2@illinois.edu). I am also on the University Skype, so feel free to chat with me there!
How can students meet with you? Do you have drop-in hours?
Yes, I have drop-in hours every Wednesday (12-2PM) and Thursday (2-4PM). Students can log in by visiting The Career Center website and clicking ‘Access the Virtual Desk’ in the middle of the front page (https://www.careercenter.illinois.edu). However, if these times do not work for someone, I am happy to meet outside of these hours.
Can you host an event for my students/class/department/anyone?
Yes! I am happy to host additional events for a specific group or audience. Please reach out to me and we can set this up.
