A Postdoc fellow is required by Agriculture and Agri Food Canada to work on enhancing our understanding of the transport of phosphorus from agricultural land to surface water, both through surface runoff and tile drains, including the identification of critical source areas for phosphorus losses. This work will support the development and validation of P loss assessment tools at both the field and small watershed scale. Candidates must have a strong understanding of runoff processes and water partitioning, soil science, nutrient cycling, and a good grasp of farming systems and agronomic practices.
The successful candidate will be collaborating with scientists at AAFC, the University of Guelph, and the Ontario Ministry of Environment and Climate change.
