Illinois Natural History Survey
We are seeking one motivated undergraduate student that is interested in gaining valuable experience in fisheries ecology research during fall 2017.
The student will receive research credit for conducting a field experiment evaluating post-surgery effects of transmitter implantation methods on gars. He/she will also have the opportunity to gain laboratory experience dissecting gars, estimating body condition, and preparing calcified structures for age estimation.
