Description
We are seeking a self-motivated Health & Safety (H&S) Compliance Specialist with significant consulting experience and client relationships to play a key role in growing the health and safety (H&S) segment of our EH&S Compliance and Inspection services in Kansas City.The position will require strong H&S technical capability and a track record of identifying new clients, managing client relationships, and developing specific work programs for these clients.
Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategic business/action plans, provide leadership, and deliver performance results to expand Burns & McDonnell’s client base, with a focus on H&S services.

Identify and develop new H&S opportunities and take active leadership role in developing new business with new and existing clients. Develop and expand client relationships that generate repeat business.

Lead the EH&S Department’s H&S compliance strategies and programs for compliance auditing, safety management systems, training, and general compliance support
Experience with ISO 14001 certifications and environmental multi-media compliance regulations is a plus, but not required.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in safety, occupational health, engineering, or related degree from accredited program. Minimum 8 years related consulting experience in a wide variety of areas ranging from program management, professional H&S services, and business development. Completion of master's degree in related field may be substituted for one year of experience.
