Qualification
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Knowledge and experience teaching earth sciences and natural resources education.
- Communication skills.
- Customer service skills.
- Must enjoy working with children and adults.
- First Aid/CPR certified or able to become certified before programming begins.
- Fluent Spanish speaking skills a plus, but not required.
Your primary responsibilities will include leading educational nature programs for the Round Lake Area communities. You will also assist in the development of the programs including preparations for program materials, set-up and clean-up of program materials, and maintaining inventory of supplies needed for upcoming programs. You may additionally assist with the challenge course and cooperative games. You will also assist in the nature museum care for plants and animals and assisting museum guests as needed.
