Huron Conservation District - Program Technician
The Huron Conservation District and the Michigan Natural Resource Conservation Service (NRCS) are seeking an applicant to serve as Program Technician with the Bad Axe USDA Field Office located in Huron County, Michigan. This position will support Farm Bill program initiatives. The ideal candidate would be familiar with Huron County agricultural practices and have good computer skills. The candidate should have a good aptitude for customer service, the ability to multi-task. The Program Technician position will provide broad assistance to help ensure program information is available, management plans are developed, assistance with program compliance, support of practice implementation and associated processing, and assist NRCS and District staff with office support as needed. This position is funded by a three-year grant through NRCS and the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation with potential for continued funding, depending on available resources.
