Job Description:
This position will guide the effective and successful operations of the Planning and Adaptation Section by providing leadership for a diverse array of statewide programs, promoting Division-wide adaptive management efforts (planning, implementation, evaluation and adaptation), and engaging and collaborating broadly with a diverse set of stakeholders and partners. This position also provides leadership, mentoring, and guidance for staff, and administers the day-to-day operations of the Section. This position will focus on implementation of the Division's strategic plan, "Guiding Principles and Strategies (GPS)" for setting strategic Division direction in planning efforts and in setting work priorities
Required Education and Experience:
Education- Possession of a bachelor's degree in any major.
Experience- Four years of professional experience, including two years equivalent to the experienced (P11) level or one year equivalent to the advanced (12) level.
Alternate Education and Experience- Education level typically acquired through completion of high school and two years of safety and regulatory or law enforcement experience at the 14 level; or, one year of safety and regulatory or law enforcement experience at the 15 level, may be substituted for the education and experience requirements.
