Natural Resource Field Seasonal - Gain real-life experience in the natural resources field by working alongside our skilled Ecologists! Spend the summer working outside with a team in a pristine natural resources environment while expanding your knowledge in areas such as native plants, herbicide use, and ecological restoration work such as brush clearing and weed control activities.
Outdoor Education Program Leader - Working with our Education Services team as a summer camp and public program leader is a great way to gain experience in environmental education and make a positive impact! Enhance your communication and teaching skills while working with a variety of age levels. Share your knowledge and passion for the natural environment with diverse audiences. Our employees will train you in safety, leadership skills, and camp activities, and will help you become familiar with Conservation District sites.
Park Maintenance Seasonal - job duties include, but not limited to:
- Mowing and trimming
- Light maintenance work such as painting and staining
- Trail work such as trimming and erosion control
- Park rounds including trash pick-up and maintenance of the site
Wildlife Resource Center Seasonal - Be actively involved in the husbandry (cleaning/feeding) of the resident raptors, reptiles, feeder colonies as well as rehabilitating wildlife. Participate in our Blanding’s turtle captive rearing project and bluebird trail monitoring program. Contribute to environmental education programs and the development of program materials/wildlife artifacts. Enhance your communication and customer service skills in responding to wildlife-related inquiries from the public.
