Position Summary:
The Senior Operations Consultant (SOC) will assist with the development and revision of policies, procedures and guidance documents related to internal operations and the Division of Environmental Health. The SOC will also coordinate new hire and onboarding processes for affiliates.
Major Duties:
- Evaluate, update and/or develop policies, procedures and guidance materials related to internal operations.
- Develop internal operations training materials and/or presentations as needed or assigned.
- Lead workgroups or teams in developing and standardizing internal procedures and policies to drive process efficiencies and support long-term goals.
- Participate in and/or represent MDHHS on interview teams for new hires.
- Serve as liaison and/or coordinate the new hire process with MPHI Human Resources.
- Develop uniform on-boarding processes and procedures for new hires.
- Other duties as assigned.
