The intern will work remotely with innovation leadership and program teams to help identify, design, and implement innovative approaches to our work to enhance the impact of our projects. They will bring their background and expertise – perhaps in technology, analytics, design, art, activism, social change, equity, management, communications, science, engineering, coding, marketing, writing, etc. – to significantly advance innovation in conservation. This could include creating processes, building conservation solutions, designing program work, generating program materials, policies or processes, or introducing new methods and best practices into our day-to-day operations and work. The project’s content is dependent on the intern’s academic interests, unique skillset, and the needs of our many conservation programs. The organizational areas in which the intern may work include Conservation, Philanthropy, Marketing & Communications, and Operations. Program teams may be located around the U.S. and abroad, however the intern must have existing authorization to work in the U.S. and must be located in the U.S. for the duration of the internship.
