International Week 2018 will take place on the Urbana campus from April 1-7! International Week aims to raise awareness about the breadth of international education, activities, and resources available in our community through numerous educational, cultural, and recreational events co-hosted by student groups, centers, colleges, units, and local partners.
Previous events have included the Korean Student Association (KSA) Talent Show, the International Student and Scholar Services (ISSS) Taste of Language, and the LAS Global Studies Leaders Water Walk. The KSA Talent Show showcases student talent from energetic hip-hop dances to soulful original songs. The ISSS Taste of Language event allows participants to "sample" less commonly taught languages through short lessons. The LAS Global Studies Leaders Water Walk raises awareness of water security around the world. View WCIA's coverage of the 2016 Water Walk (Video). These events and many others make for a truly dynamic week of events. If you are interested in hosting an event during International Week, submit an event to the Calendar.
