Chancellor Robert Jones recently returned from a two-week trip to southern Africa with the director of Illinois International, Reitu Mabokela, a native of South Africa and UI alumna who oversees international programs on campus. University of Illinois administrators hope to increase ties to the continent through new partnerships, research exchanges and student enrollment.
