Illinois International is pleased to invite nominations for the 2020 International Achievement Awards.
In 2000, a gift from Madhuri and Jagdish Sheth established an award that recognizes the exceptional achievement of an international Illinois graduate. The Sheths envisioned an award that would showcase the university’s significant international reach. The campus has built on this vision by creating several additional award categories to recognize exceptional international service by faculty, young alumni, graduate students, and undergraduate students. In 2007, the young alumni award was endowed by Professor Emeritus Charles C. Stewart.
These five different awards are a wonderful opportunity to honor and celebrate the accomplishments of deserving alumni, faculty, and current students for their globally-focused work and/or scholarship. Undergraduate and graduate may self-nominate in their respective award categories.
Submitting a nomination is simple and can be completed online via our website at go.illinois.edu/intlachievementawards. Nominations will be accepted through May 1, 2020.
