In may, Professor Suja Thomas participated on a panel of CAAM fellows and mentors at the annual Center for Asian American Media Summit. The program, referred to as CAAMFest, is the world’s largest showcase for new Asian American and Asian film, food and music programs. Thomas took part as a member of the 2023 class of CAAM Fellows, an honor she received in April based on her documentary film work about the justice system.
