Professor Paul Heald has published 2 new papers recently on SSRN. The first, "The Cost of Copyright Revisited: Identifying Competition Effects in Small Markets," addresses the availability and pricing of different types of books (bound books, ebooks, and audiobooks) in small markets outside of the United States. The second paper, "The Law Review Scam: How to Humanely End Law School Exceptionalism," provides a history of publishing in law journals and proposes that peer-review done by students should not affect tenure and promotion among law professors. This latter paper, was also reprinted on the TaxProf Blog.
