A patchwork of laws immediately triggered by or passed shortly after the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade have left more questions than answers in the minds of abortion advocates and legal observers. With abortion access available in fewer than half of the states, travel to receive an abortion has become a central issue. Many businesses have already voiced support for employees who need such travel, including offering financial assistance; however, some states are considering legislation to punish such actions as well as individuals who provide similar accomodations. Against this backdrop, Professor Robin Fretwell Wilson shared her perspective on the issue with The Legal Examiner.
