Professor Jason Mazzone has been selected to present a paper at the prestigious Hugh and Hazel Darling Foundation Originalism Works-in-Progress Conference at the University of San Diego Law School on February 19-20. Professor Mazzone’s paper, co-authored with Cem Tecimer (Harvard Law School), is on “Originalism and Inter-Constitutional Interpretation.” The paper examines the surprising ways in which courts in the U.S. and around the world regularly make use of prior, abrogated constitutions to interpret current, in-force constitutions.
