Professor Colleen Murphy was invited to join the Holberg Committee for a 3-year term. As part of the Committee, Murphy will help to choose recipients of the prestigious Holberg Prize, an international research prize awarded annually for outstanding scholarly work in the humanities, social sciences, law and theology that has been awarded since 2003. The Holberg Committee, consisting of internationally recognized researchers within the fields covered by the award, confers the award at the University of Bergen annually.
