The path from Congress to President Joe Biden's desk for the Respect for Marriage Act was an uphill battle for many of its advocates, with many individuals working to help bring together various coalitions in support of the bill. Professor Robin Fretwell Wilson was one of those individuals, and her help in bringing Republican groups on board helped the Act overcome its final hurdles.
