On March 28, 2022, the College of Law celebrated the investiture of Margareth Etienne as the Carl L. Vacketta Professor of Law. In her remarks, Professor Etienne expressed gratitude for her ability to work across disciplines at Illinois and spoke about her work in criminal law and sentencing. The formal ceremony was followed by a reception in the Peer and Sarah Pedersen Pavilion.
