Professor Robin Wilson's new lecture series, the #ToleranceMeans Dialogues, has received a $48,000 gift from the 1st Amendment Partnership. After providing the seed money for the pilot series of dialogues which took place this past year, the organization was favorably impressed and decided to scale up their initial investment.
The mission of the 1st Amendment Partnership is to promote and protect religious freedom for people of all faiths. The group focuses on public policies and education that recognize the profound contribution of faith and religious freedom to the common good.
In a letter to Professor Wilson that outlines the details of the gift, Tim Schultz, President of the 1st Amendment Partnership, said, "Thank you for all of your efforts at achieving a robust, inclusive, and principled pluralism at a time of great need in the United States."
