On September 15, 2017, Professor Jay Kesan participated in a day-long Intellectual Property Academic Roundtable organized by Microsoft Corp. at New York University School of Law. The event brought together leading academics in patent law and policy. The topics for discussion included: cloud platforms, IP and private ordering; IP considerations and strategies around artificial intelligence (AI); recent trends/developments in patent litigation; and evolving patent policy in Congress and the courts.
