Professor Suja Thomas' book The Missing American Jury was recently reviewed in both the Michigan Law Review and Political Science Quarterly.
Richard Lorren Jolly of New York University School of Law reviewed the book for Michigan Law Review. He writes:
"Incorporating private procedural ordering into the framework Professor Thomas presents in The Missing American Jury would create an even more comprehensive work. Her contributions offer a structure for cogently addressing understudied questions regarding private distortions of the jury and the civil justice system generally."
The book was separately featured in a Michigan Law Review forward by Barbara McQuade (Michigan Law), titled "Books Have the Power to Shape Public Policy."
Anna Roberts of Seattle University School of Law reviewed The Missing American Jury in Political Science Quarterly. She writes:
"If there were room for anything more in this ambitious book, I would have loved to hear more about the complications in the powerful story of a jury that is lost and should be re‐found. "
