In January of 2021, Professor Colleen Murphy penned an essay for the Boston Review titled "How Nations Heal." She articulates that the framework of transitional justice offers a promising path forward for the United States. The essay has been selected to be republished in the Boston Review's winter 2022 edition of Repair, an anthology where "contributors explore what it might look like to repair. Topics include the Salem witch trials, climate catastrophe, the January 6 siege of the Capitol, gender identity, the failures (and hope) of Western medicine, and the entwined horrors of racial, sexual, and colonial violence."
