Late last week, an arbitrator ruled that Colin Kaepernick's case against the NFL should be allowed to go forward. According to the New York Times, the arbitrator, who was appointed by the league and the N.F.L. Players Association, said lawyers for Kaepernick had unearthed enough information in the past year for the case to proceed to a full hearing.
“Many people might think this case is about the anthem and not about collusion,” said Michael LeRoy, a labor law expert at the University of Illinois. “It has now become a benchmark measure of whether you support Trump or do not support Trump.”
