University of Illinois College of Law graduate William Jung (Class of 1983) was recently confirmed as a judge for the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida.
At Illinois, he was editor-in-chief of the Law Review, valedictorian of his class, and a member of Order of the Coif. Immediately following law school, he was clerk to Judge Gerald Bard Tjoflat, U.S. Court of Appeals, Eleventh Circuit, and then Chief Justice William H. Rehnquist, U.S. Supreme Court.
Jung then served as an Assistant U.S. Attorney for several years before practicing civil litigation at the Tampa office of Carlton Fields P.A. He is currently a partner at the firm of Jung & Sisco, where his specialties include civil, commercial and white-collar defense litigation.
