Professor Jay Kesan published the Fourth Edition of his casebook (with Richard Gruner and Shubha Ghosh), Transactional Intellectual Property: From Startups to Public Companies, Carolina Academic Press, 2018. This is a unique and first-of-its-kind casebook that deals with the transactional and commercial problems faced by firms of all sizes, from a start-up to a publicly traded company, when they trade their intellectual property. It is being used in business schools and law schools as a course textbook.
