College of Law students Jake Andreasen, Sam Rabuck, Michael Medved, and Patrick Lombardi were recently informed that they are the recipients of a $5,000 grant from the National Association of Chapter 13 Trustees (NACTT). The students applied for the grant in order to fund their participation in the American Bankruptcy Institute's Duberstein bankruptcy moot court competition. Because it is not an official law school moot court competition, outside funding is essential to the self-organized team's ability to participate.
Professor Bob Lawless praised the work ethic of the students.
"Rarely have I seen four students display this sort of initiative," he said.
The competition will take place March 2-4, 2019 in New York City.
