The College of Law is excited to announce that it will host an inaugural Women Lead WITH Illinois Law Summit on Friday, April 5th. In furtherance of our commitment to the advancement of women in the legal profession, this summit serves to gather members of our community, including students, faculty, alumni, and guests, for a day of discussion and content specifically focused on issues faced by women in the legal world. With sessions hosted by some of our most successful alumni and faculty, as well as a keynote address by alumna Hon. Lisa Holder White, this event is intended to inspire and empower women to embrace positions of leadership in the law, create meaningful connections, and provide support for each other’s personal and professional goals.
Women Lead WITH Illinois Law includes sessions on leadership development, the #MeToo movement as it relates to the legal profession, discussions on inclusiveness and culture, and how to navigate career transitions throughout ones professional life. Learn more about the mission of Women Lead, the agenda for the day's events, and the planning committee members on the College of Law website.
We hope that you will be able to join us for this exciting day of discussion, learning, and relationship-building at the Women Lead WITH Illinois Law summit.
