Gabriela Zamfir Hensley '18 has been selected to receive the 2018 American Bankruptcy Institute (ABI) Medal of Excellence.
The ABI Medal of Excellence recognizes achievement across all of a school’s bankruptcy classes and activities. All three bankruptcy professors (Charles Tabb, Ralph Brubaker, and Bob Lawless) confer and jointly agree on the medal recipient.
Professor Lawless said, "At Illinois, we are fortunate to be able to offer a wide array of classes in the area of bankruptcy law, and Gabby excelled across all of them. We will miss Gabby’s enthusiasm and contributions to our bankruptcy program and wish her all the best in her new career with Kirkland and Ellis."
