Professors Jennifer Robbennolt and Nicola Sharpe have co-authored a new article, "Behavioral Ethics and Corporate Culture" in Psychology Today. They write about how ethical blind spots can result from unconscious biases, external pressures, diffusion of responsibility, and other psychological influences. They discuss how an ethical corporate culture is integral to promoting ethical and compliance behavior and reporting ethical violations, and trust in the organization promotes a willingness to communicate bad news and to call out wrongdoing.
