Professor Richard Ross, an expert in legal history, will give two papers at upcoming workshops in the Bay area.
On October 28, he will present "The Rule of Law in British America: Thinking With Indians While Comparing to Spaniards" at the Center for the Study of Law and Society, University of California, Berkeley, School of Law.
On October 29, he will present "Anglicization of and through Law: British North America, Ireland, and India Compared, 1540-1800" at the Legal History Workshop, Stanford Law School.
