Professor Richard Kaplan will present "The Uncertain Translation of Scholarship into Policy" at the Institute for Government and Public Affairs (IGPA) Fiscal Health Policy Working Group inaugural conference on Friday, November 1. Faculty from all University of Illinois system campuses, journalists, and selected legislators from both parties, as well as representatives from the Governor's office will be in attendance. IGPA improves public policy discussion through non-partisan, evidence-based research and public engagement in Illinois.
