Professor Colleen Murphy was recently interviewed by SmilePolitely, a local arts and culture publication, about the Women and Gender in Global Perspectives Program at Illinois. Murphy has been the director of WGGP since 2013.
Regarding the evolution of the program since that time, she said, "We’ve really established our presence. It was always a campus wide program, but I’m really proud of ways we strengthened collaborative ties across campus in pockets of campus that historically weren’t connected."
